Let's get acquainted!

My name is Manish Singhai, and I live and work in Singapore. I joined the investment industry in 1993, and learnt the ropes as an analyst and portfolio manager for the first ten years. Subsequently, since 2003, I have held business and investment leadership roles at AllianceBernstein, Lazard AM, Aviva Investors, and Tokio Marine AM. In between, I also founded and managed Arjava Capital, a hedge-fund seeded by Citigroup.

I earned a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Calcutta, and am a CFA charterholder. 

ESG, and its predecessors CG, and SRI, have been integral to my investment philosophy all the way since 2000. Over the years, I have been a speaker and presenter at numerous global and regional ESG, CG and SRI forums.  One of my notable contributions was as a member of the CG Task Force of the Equity Advisory Group under the Institute of International of Finance.
